I started dancing at the age of three in ballet. And then as I got older started Tap,Modern,Jazz,Contemporary and commercial. I took dance seriously from a young age and was fortunate enough to experience lots of amazing opportunities. Such as being a part of the National youth Dance company and National Dance CATS.
I then went onto attend the Urdang Academy in London where I attained my Diploma in dance over three years.
After this I worked as a professional dancer in various different productions in London, Paris and Los Angeles. I then went onto study Sport rehabilitation at university as I have always been heavily into exercise and know all too well about having injuries and limitations. Whilst studying I worked on placement as a sport therapist with various different sport teams such as Plymouth Argyle ladies and TB7 football club. I have treated an Olympic Hurdle runner, Professional basketball players and dancers so far in my career. I am interested and passionate in helping not only Sports related issues. But also everyday issues such as hairdressers/beauticians pain.
Through my work as a Sports Therapist I have membership with the Sports Therapy Organisation (STO) and I am fully insured to practice. I have undergone an enhanced disclosure and barring service (DBS) child and adult. And have a first aid at work certification.
I am currently wanting to expand my knowledge in Sport therapy and rehabilitation and helping people so I am undergoing lots of different courses in 2022.
As well as Sport therapy I still teach dance classes regularly at rhythm City Plymouth and am offering personal training sessions at body world gym with D.B fitness and nutrition and can offer nutrition plans/meal prep made my qualified nutritionists and chefs. Please get in contact if you are interested in dance classes,Personal Training and Nutrition.
